    We are looking to bring on a business development manager who has experience in the government and aviation industry. We are a woman-owned interior architectural design firm who strategically targets these sectors to secure projects, build relationships, and position the firm as a trusted partner. Here are key tasks for this role:

    Strategy & Market Research
    • Research industry trends, regulations, and project opportunities.
    • Develop targeted business strategies for government and aviation sectors.
    Client Acquisition & Proposal Management
    • Identify and pursue leads for projects and partnerships.
    • Prepare and submit proposals (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
    Networking & Relationship Building
    • Connect with government officials, airport authorities, and industry stakeholders.
    • Engage clients to position the firm as a preferred partner.
    Compliance & Certification
    • Manage and maintain woman-owned business and industry certifications.
    • Ensure compliance with government and aviation regulations.
    Marketing & Outreach
    • Promote the firm’s expertise through targeted campaigns.
    • Represent the firm at industry events, trade shows, and procurement meetings.
    Partnerships & Strategic Growth
    • Develop partnerships and joint ventures to expand market reach.
    • Explore innovative growth opportunities in services and technology.
    Financial Oversight & Performance Tracking
    • Manage budgets for business development activities.
    • Monitor and report on lead generation, client engagement, and revenue impact.
    Team Collaboration & Leadership
    • Coordinate with design, marketing, and finance teams for cohesive strategies.
    • Mentor junior staff and foster a high-performing team.
