Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager who can autonomously execute a strategic sales plan, expanding our market share with Property Managers & Facility Managers. The Business Development Manager will be at the forefront of our clients' growth, driving service revenue, capturing re-roof opportunities, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Use your networking skills, social media presence, and existing relationships to identify new business prospects.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies tailored to Property Managers & Facility Managers.
Represent us at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
Utilize our CRM to communicate with customers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Negotiate private contracts, prepare tailored proposals and presentations, and use innovative pricing and design strategies to win new business.
Work closely with estimators and project managers to ensure bids are competitive, and projects run smoothly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the construction or property management industry
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Knowledge of property management or facility management processes and priorities
Proficient in using CRM software to manage client relationships
Ability to negotiate contracts and prepare tailored proposals
Understanding of the construction industry; roofing experience is a plus
Willingness to attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings (some travel required)
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field preferred
Compensation:
Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year range plus commission structure
