    An Atlanta law firm is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Business Development Manager to help shape and drive firmwide BD efforts. Reporting to the CMO, this leader will collaborate with attorneys, practice, and industry team leaders to develop and implement business development strategies that support long-term growth.

    This is a high-visibility role requiring strong leadership, relationship-building, and execution skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and confident in managing multiple initiatives while mentoring team members and championing cross-practice collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with firm leadership to develop BD strategies aligned with overall goals.

    • Lead major pitch, proposal, and RFP responses.

    • Manage sponsorships, industry partnerships, and conference involvement.

    • Oversee BD systems, reporting, and CRM utilization (Legal360 or similar).

    • Provide coaching and training to attorneys on business development best practices.

    • Research market trends, prospects, and competitors.

    • Supervise and mentor BD support staff.

    Qualifications:

    • 7–10 years of business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.

    • Proven success in developing and executing strategic BD initiatives.

    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

    • Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.

    • Experience with CRM systems (Legal360 preferred).

    • Bachelor’s degree required (marketing, business, or related field).

    $100,000-$150,000 per year
