    • The Business Development Manager's role involves creating a portfolio of target clients, introducing them to the company’s services, and identifying growth opportunities. This position offers a foundational chance to engage with potential clients including owners, property managers, and consulting engineers through campaigns and events, while honing strategies that set both the Business Development Manager and the company apart in the market.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
    • Build a robust pipeline of new clients and projects through direct outreach, prospecting, and indirect customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to execute business development strategies, including participation in events, tradeshows, webinars, presentations, and conferences.
    • Drive business growth by conducting outbound lead generation and researching potential new prospects.
    • Qualify inbound leads, prioritize opportunities, and coordinate internal resources to expedite the sales process.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s full suite of services.
    • Clearly communicate the company’s competitive advantages and value proposition to both prospects and existing clients.
    • Foster and maintain relationships with prospects through in-person meetings and networking activities, tracking progress in the CRM system.
    • Build strong connections with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Act as the company’s representative at various networking events.
    • Monitor and manage daily and weekly KPIs, including sales activities, lead generation, opportunities, closed deals, and pipeline development.
    • Conduct building take-offs to gather accurate measurements for estimation purposes.
    • Prepare and present project proposals and documentation for client review and negotiation.

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated expertise in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call management, and efficient time management.
    • Willing and flexible to travel for regional training sessions and events.
    • Results-driven, with a focus on winning more bids.
    • Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, PowerPoint, and skilled in preparing quotes and presentations.
    • Basic knowledge of blueprints and job specifications, with the ability to visit job sites to collect information for estimates.
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 3+ years of experience in construction or waterproofing field

    Compensation:

    • Base salary up to 85k/year plus commission
