Position Summary: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will report to (TBD) and will collaborate with colleagues in the marketing, preconstruction services, and operations groups to develop new business. Specifically, the BDM will identify, develop, and support the pursuit and capture of business opportunities in the previously noted target markets. The BDM will utilize a client relations management (CRM) system to track and report on progress in positioning the company for business development opportunities with existing clients and prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
The BDM’s primary focus will be to identify and pursue new clients through cold calling and networking with architectural & engineering firms plus other consultants within the previously noted target markets. The BDM will identify client requirements and consult with (TBD) to confirm that the company can respond successfully to client requirements. For clients with requirements that align with the company’s ability to respond, the BDM will coordinate with marketing and preconstruction services groups to respond to client invitations to bid and propose the company’s services.
