Our client is seeking an accomplished and proactive Asia Market Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives in the region. This pivotal role focuses on expanding the company’s presence by identifying opportunities, forging key relationships, and overseeing successful onboarding and integration of new business ventures.
Location: Remote, with a preference for candidates based in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage deep knowledge of various Asian markets to identify priority opportunities and strategically focus efforts on high-potential regions.
Conduct comprehensive market research to uncover potential brands, distributors, and competitors within targeted areas.
Drive client acquisition by engaging with potential partners and stakeholders to broaden the company’s footprint in Asia.
Establish and nurture robust relationships with current and prospective clients to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Set ambitious sales targets and implement strategies to achieve significant revenue growth and profitability.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align efforts and ensure seamless execution of business plans.
Provide detailed reports on development initiatives, market conditions, and performance metrics to the senior leadership team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. An MBA is a strong advantage.
At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the technology or related sectors.
Skills:
In-depth understanding of the Asian business landscape and market dynamics.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Scientific background or relevant industry experience is desirable.
Proficiency in English and fluency in at least one Asian language is highly preferred.
Compensation: $130,000 - 160,000 plus full benefits!
