As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, with a focus on nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Your role will be pivotal in expanding our firm's presence and reputation as a trusted legal partner in this highly specialized field. Responsibilities: • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends in the Massachusetts healthcare, nursing home, and assisted living sectors. • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, administrators, and professionals within nursing homes and assisted living facilities to understand their legal needs. • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with our legal team to assess client needs and develop tailored legal solutions that align with their business objectives. • Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow the firm's client base and revenue in the healthcare sector. • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network with potential clients and key industry influencers. • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the firm's expertise and services to prospective clients. • Client Retention: Ensure client satisfaction and retention by providing excellent service and maintaining ongoing communication. • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about legislative changes and industry developments affecting nursing homes and assisted living facilities, providing strategic insights to the legal team. • Revenue Growth: Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the firm's healthcare practice. • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and results to firm leadership. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the Massachusetts healthcare, nursing home, or assisted living sector. • Extensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape and legal considerations related to nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Massachusetts. • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, with a strong network in the healthcare industry. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective business development strategies. • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. 'Working Conditions: This position is primarily based in our law firm's office, with occasional travel within Massachusetts to meet with clients and attend industry events. Compensation: $100,000 yearly + benefits and bonus
