    Nationwide Southwest is seeking a new Business Development Manager (Outside Sales) to cover the Central Texas area. In this role you will work directly with independent retailers serving all the needs in the home furnishings category.

    This position will require travel and the candidate will need to reside in the geography of the territory.

    Leads/Prospects:

    As a Business Development Manager, You Will Play A Pivotal And Vital Role In Driving The Growth And Expansion Of Our Company by Signing New Members into Our Group.

    You Will Be Responsible For Identifying New Business Opportunities, Forging Strategic Partnerships, And Nurturing Existing Vendor Relationships To Drive New Member Growth And Achieve Business Objectives.

    Members:

    As a Business Development Manager, You Will Serve As The Primary Point Of Contact For Our Valued Members (Independent Retailers) Ensuring Their Satisfaction And Retention While Maximizing Profit Opportunities.

    You Are Responsible For Building And Maintaining Strong Relationships With Your Members, Understanding Their Needs, And Providing Solutions That Align With Their Goals And Objectives As Well As Growing Their Consumer Base And The Marketplace(S) They Serve.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in a business development role and / or sales related field - Minimum 5 yrs. experience.

    Examples of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.

    Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (because in this role, communication is KEY)

    The ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.

    Familiarity with Salesforce software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

    Self-motivated and results-driven – Must be a TEAM Player with the ability to also work independently.

    Must be willing to travel and stay overnight in territory.
