    Opportunity Overview:

    This renowned Commercial/Multifamily GC has an opportunity for New Business Development in their Brentwood  - Nashville Office. The role will be a crucial person for identifying and qualifying prospects and coordinating the pursuit of new construction projects.

    The ideal person will be self-motivated and self-reliant and deeply engaged in the local Mid-Tn market for development of new (and existing) AEC industry partners for all potential business relationships.

    This person needs a solid working knowledge of the various contracting methods and contract formats including general requires a solid working knowledge of the various contracting methods and contract formats including general contracting, construction management, design-build, etc.

    They are looking for an experienced Sales/Business Development Professionals who are experienced in leading their office into further growth by representing the company to potential developers, investors, etc.

    Background Requests:

    • 5+ years experience in New Business Development within the AEC industry.
    • Preferred (4) year Bachelor's degree or business related curriculum
    • Proven ability to lead successful proposal presentation efforts.
    • Very active with social media, networking associations, and building relationships with people.

    Snapshot of Responsibilities:

    > Ability to travel for Client meetings, Networking events and other BD activities.

    > Maintain current database with contact/project information.

    > Update project records

    > Data/Info Updates:

    • Ongoing and Completed Project Reports.
    • Current Bid List.
    • HUD Project Listing.
    • Various Reference Lists for different types of projects.
    • Routine follow-up via email, phone, or meeting.
    • Track projects.

    > Ability to monitor and adjust to new market trends and establish new client and organizational base

    > Establish new clients.

    > Check publications

    > Attend Networking Events and Conferences

    • Entertain Customers/Prospects.
    • Follow leads

    > Create responses for RFP’s and submittal packages to new clients and bid packages

    • Employment Recruiting (college career fairs, etc.)

    > Update and Distribute Marketing materials.
