The Business Development Manager for Paul Davis of the Golden Triangle is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business opportunities to enhance the growth and profitability of the company in the northeast Mississippi market. This role requires a proactive and dynamic individual who can build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in business development or sales specifically in the property management / construction field.
Key Responsibilities
Identify New Business Opportunities:
Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and potential new lead sources.
Identify and target new prospects and opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Collaborate Across Teams to Drive Results:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and execute plans effectively.
Collaborate with Estimating Team to close deals on larger contracts with key clients
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Set performance metrics, track progress, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Networking and Representation:
Represent the company at local events and conferences.
Build a professional network to foster business relationships and stay informed about industry developments.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
10+ years of sales experience required
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally within the construction or property management.
Experience in developing new markets and executing successful business development strategies from the ground up.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Self-motivated, with a results-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Adaptable to changing business environments and emerging opportunities.
Compensation:
Strong base salary commensurate with experience plus commission
