    Business Development Manager – Power Sector

    We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive market expansion in the power sector. This role is ideal for a high-energy, results-driven professional who thrives on building strategic relationships, developing new opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Expand the company’s presence in the power generation, transmission, and distribution markets.
    • Develop key partnerships with utilities, EPCs, system integrators, and technology providers.
    • Drive sales growth through strategic account planning, market penetration, partner enablement, and achieving quotas.
    • Establish the company as a thought leader by engaging in industry events, trade shows, and forums.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop tailored solutions.
    • Provide proactive feedback on new markets, products, competitive information, and technology trends.
    • Achieve the assigned quota for the Power vertical market and key accounts.
    • Map the substation and smart grid ecosystem and develop solution partners in the market.
    • Identify, manage, and clarify the expectations and requirements of the Power market, such as certifications, reports, longevity statements, and other vertical market-related documents. Make them available to customers and internal teams as needed.
    • Develop and conduct application presentations, market seminars, and roadshows to promote solutions within the power market.

    Who You Are:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar field is a plus.
    • Professional Certificates/Licenses: Cisco CCNA is a plus.
    • 5+ years of business development experience in industrial networking, cybersecurity, or automation within the power, utilities, or renewable energy sectors.
    • Strong understanding of substation automation, SCADA systems, and grid modernization. Familiarity with IEC 61850 is a plus.
    • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth.
    • Execution-focused, persistent, and results-driven with a growth mindset.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage customers and partners.
