    Position: Business Development Manager

    Shift: 1st Shift

    Location: Canton, Ohio (In office- not hybrid)

    Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 plus incentives

    About our Client:

    Our Client is located in Canton, OH, and is a leading industrial maintenance business that provides a variety of solutions (industrial services, refractory solutions, equipment rental and maintenance, turn-key solutions, civil construction, steel erection, etc.) to customers across many different markets (industrial manufacturing, engineered materials, utility & energy, and others).

    Business Development Manager role:

    As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the company’s growth strategy, and plans that will drive sales, increase margins, and expand markets to achieve company financial targets. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying priority market segments, partners, customers, and coordination with internal Project Management teams to drive new business expansion.

    Business Development Manager responsibilities:

    • Strategic development of priority target end markets, priority customers and geography.
    • Research and analysis of various target markets, trends, competitiveness, and service offerings.
    • Oversees financial feasibility studies, proposal development, and negotiations for new business development opportunities
    • Nurtures and creates a wide network of contacts to keep informed about current and future market trends.
    • Door opener for new business opportunity expansion.
    • Build on what works and change was doesn't with key customers.
    • Collaborate internal with Project Management team to drive qualified leads to closure.
    • Manage the sales process via internal sales systems. Maintain and keep CRM active to consistently drive results.
    • Foster and work to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture.
    • Travel to key customers, partners, and events to support growth.
    • Provide advice on product development and promotional strategies.
    • Responsible for meeting financial growth targets of the business.

    About You:

    • Bachelor's Degree, emphasis on business and/or marketing is preferred.
    • Technical Aptitude, including basic understanding of offered services
    • Prove work experience in driving growth via market, geographic and services expansion
    • Track record of driving significant growth
    • Experience developing customer relationships
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Experience with CRM selling systems and driving consistent results
    • Business acumen and problem-solving attitude
    • Entrepreneurial minded and comfortable driving fast paced, high performance
    • Customer focused and results driven
