    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales and business development strategies to drive revenue, market share, and new client acquisition. This role involves identifying and engaging prospective clients, leading sales outreach, building a robust sales pipeline, and fostering strategic relationships with key stakeholders to promote long-term growth and client retention.

    JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute effective business development strategies that align with the vision and business plan of RBR

    • Prospect, research, and contact leads that fit the ideal client profile

      • Execute on outbound outreach to targeted businesses and business leaders, including the C-suite and human resources

      • Set, participate, and lead sales meetings and presentations with prospective clients

      • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

      • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in company systems (HubSpot and Crelate)

    • Develop strategic, long-term relationships with clients and business partners to foster growth and retention

      • Build trust with key stakeholders via effective communication and professionalism

    • Effectively problem solve and work through client issues utilizing a holistic and consultative approach by presenting solutions that represent the value proposition of RBR

    • Participate in networking meetings and events with Centers of Influence (COIs) and community leaders with a goal of multiplying the reach and awareness of RBR

      • Maintain active involvement in at least one business-oriented organization (i.e. chambers, economic development, etc.), with any applicable dues paid for by RBR

    • Stay up to date on on industry/market information and trends

    • Demonstrate leadership by championing company culture and spearheading special projects and other company initiatives

    • Participate in weekly internal meetings to report on pipeline, forecasting and more

    • Exceed outlined KPIs and goals on an ongoing basis

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years of experience in recruiting and/or recruitment sales

    • Experience maintaining and utilizing a CRM system (HubSpot experience preferred)

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    • Experience and/or existing relationship network in manufacturing or heavy industrial sectors preferred
