Job Summary:
As a sales and marketing professional you would be a great fit to join our growing homecare agency in Northern Indiana as a Business Development Professional. Build meaningful relationships with referral sources, educate the community about our services and drive growth through strategic outreach and marketing initiatives. Your typical day would include visits to the office and multiple sites daily which offers you the opportunity to create a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Referral Development: Establish and nurture relationships with hospital discharge planners, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, social workers, geriatric case managers, and other healthcare professionals to drive referrals to the agency.
Community Outreach: Attend and represent the agency at community events, health fairs, senior expos, and networking events to promote the agency's services.
Sales & Marketing Strategy: Implement marketing strategies and campaigns to expand the client base. Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic relationships with partners and organizations.
Client Education: Educate potential clients, families, and referral sources about the benefits of non-medical homecare services, and guide them through the process of selecting services that best meet their needs.
Presentations & Workshops: Organize and host tailored presentations for diverse audiences. These audiences include healthcare professionals, community groups, and families of aging clients. The goal is to educate both the community and healthcare professionals about our agency’s services.
Market Research & Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. Report insights and recommendations to management to improve the agency's offerings and market position.
Brand Management: Ensure the agency’s branding and messaging is consistent across all channels, including social media, print materials, and digital platforms.
Performance Reporting: Track and report on marketing activities and outcomes, including referrals generated, new clients onboarded, and overall business growth.
Essential Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in healthcare, homecare, or related industries.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with referral sources and clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive, results-driven mindset with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for meetings and events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Experience in community outreach or healthcare marketing.
Familiarity with the healthcare industry and non-medical homecare services is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of local healthcare networks and community organizations.
