Business Development Representative

Main Line Junk is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to expand our network of affiliates and drive new business in the moving and junk removal industries. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in networking environments and enjoys making meaningful connections to support business growth. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals who can benefit from our moving and junk removal services. Your goal will be to establish a strong affiliate network across various industries, generate leads, and contribute to the company’s overall growth. This role requires attending networking events, industry trade shows, and community meetings to promote Main Line Junk’s services and secure recurring and one-time business opportunities. Primary Focus Areas: • Geographic Regions: Delaware County (Delco), Chester County (Chesco), Montgomery County (Montco), and parts of Philadelphia. • Industries: Senior Living Communities, Realtors, Property Managers, Building Managers, Estate Attorneys, Restoration Companies, and more. Compensation & Benefits • Salary + Commission: $50,000 to $60,000 base salary + 1% to 5% commission on attributable revenue. • Health Care: Employer-sponsored health care options. • Technology: Company-provided cell phone and laptop if requested. • Retirement Plan: SIMPLE IRA with up to 3% company match after 12 months of employment. • Mileage Reimbursement: IRS-regulated reimbursement for work-related travel beyond the daily commute to the Havertown, PA, office. Responsibilities: Affiliate & Referral Network Development • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates and referral partners. • Engage with local real estate brokerages by organizing lunch-and-learn sessions and industry events. • Collaborate with realtors, leasing agents, and senior living communities to establish preferred partnerships. Networking & Community Engagement • Actively participate in local networking groups, industry trade shows, and community events to expand connections. • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic relationship-building and outreach. Marketing & Outreach Initiatives • Plan and execute outbound marketing events, such as vendor appreciation nights, e-waste recycling events, and neighborhood junk removal programs. • Manage and oversee social media engagement, working with a full-time Virtual Assistant (VA) for digital outreach. • Assist in CRM (Zoho) and email marketing efforts to optimize lead nurturing. Advertising & Industry Insights • Monitor and analyze industry trends to identify new growth opportunities. • Oversee advertising campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Ads to drive lead generation. Qualifications: • Proven ability to meet sales objectives and drive business growth. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. • Experience with CRM systems and email marketing tools. • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and customer psychology. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms. • Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and networking events. • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 base salary + commission
