    Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour

    PLUS A STRONG COMMISSION STRUCTURE!

    Both recurring monthly and one-time commissions!

    ** Nexus HR is looking for a Business Development Representative, your role will be to seek and actively pursue new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients.**

    About the Job:

    Being successful in this role requires previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients from first contact to closed deals. You will also ensure proper after-sales service through onboarding handoff and communication support.     Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

    • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails

    • Present our company to potential clients

    • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

    • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

    • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

    • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

    • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Client Strategy Manager

    • Follow up with Client Strategy Manager on their leads and appointments set

    • Write up estimates for the Account Executives in the field

    • Report to the Client Strategy Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

    • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing

    Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales

    • Experience in selling services or any recurring services is required

    • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role

    • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

    • Track record of achieving sales quotas

    • Experience with CRM and/or project management software (ex: HubSpot, ClickUp)

    • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

    • Understanding of sales performance metrics

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

    • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and communication

    • The ability to work in an office full-time in Sacramento, California is required
