K and K Fence Company has been in business since 1967 and is one of the largest fence companies in Central Indiana. We have an immediate need to fill a Residential Business Development position.
Overview:
This position requires all aspects of the sales process. Therefore, one must have a proven track record of closing new opportunities while also growing a current account base.
In this role you are responsible for the daily management of all residential sales appointments for the Indianapolis area and surrounding counties. The Business Development Representative is accountable for achieving sales, margin, and conversion targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience. To be successful in this role, our Business Development Representatives must sell consultatively and not on price. Additionally, excellent problem-solving skills are critical in helping our clients achieve success!
Summary Job Description:
· The ideal candidate for our role will have the following skills/experience:
· A proven sales track record with achieving sales growth in a competitive market.
· Must also be a self-starter and work well without supervision.
· Experience selling a product, or experience in the Industrial Supply, Maintenance Products, Building Supply are a plus but not required.
Role and Responsibilities
· Maintain a daily appointment schedule – 6+ appointments a day.
· Measure client backyards and compose project proposals based on project specifications, customer needs, and product preferences.
· Maintain high level of clear, consistent communication with customers throughout the entire sales process either through phone or email.
· Respond reliably and quickly to client requests and needs
· Provide a professional, informed sales presentation
· Achieve company sales goals, margin targets
· Adhere to and uphold company policies and sales procedure
· Effectively utilize database to record all appointments, emails, interactions with customers
· Use digital estimating system to produce project quotes
Job Requirements:
· Must have 2 or more years of experience in B2B sales
· Strong communication skills to provide superior customer service experience
· Self-motivated to achieve daily and long-term sales goals
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Quick on your feet and willing to solve any problem thrown your way
· Able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
· Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
· Professional appearance
· Proficient in MS Office and Outlook calendaring
Compensation:
We offer a competitive base plus commission structure with a guaranteed income feature. The potential to earn is between 60,000 to 100,00 + each year.
