Business Development Representative - Truck and Trailer Manufacturing - Base Salary 52k/year - Gallatin, TN
- Our client manufactures high-quality truck bodies and trailers for landscaping, hauling, construction, equipment distribution, and farming.
- They are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Gallatin. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new markets and potential distribution partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Create and utilize monthly sales forecasts to identify and grow sales
- Estimate date of delivery to the customer based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules
- Enter new customer data, log daily activity into a CRM
- Prepare sales quotes to ensure proper manufacturing of the purchased product
- Work with production and engineering to identify innovation trends and business opportunities to ensure delivery of a premier product
Qualifications:
- 3+ years successful sales experience (new business development is a plus)
- Strong understanding of how to prioritize time and tasks in addition to managing a calendar and schedule flexibility
- Responsible for developing one’s schedule to include confirmed introductions with new business opportunities
