Business Development Representative - Truck and Trailer Manufacturing - Base Salary 52k/year - Gallatin, TN

• Our client manufactures high-quality truck bodies and trailers for landscaping, hauling, construction, equipment distribution, and farming.
• They are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Gallatin. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new markets and potential distribution partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Create and utilize monthly sales forecasts to identify and grow sales
• Estimate date of delivery to the customer based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules
• Enter new customer data, log daily activity into a CRM
• Prepare sales quotes to ensure proper manufacturing of the purchased product
• Work with production and engineering to identify innovation trends and business opportunities to ensure delivery of a premier product

Qualifications:

• 3+ years successful sales experience (new business development is a plus)
• Strong understanding of how to prioritize time and tasks in addition to managing a calendar and schedule flexibility
• Responsible for developing one’s schedule to include confirmed introductions with new business opportunities

• Base salary 52k/ year
