We are seeking a candidate who can generate new prospects, nurture client relationships, and provide an exceptional customer experience. This role necessitates the ability to demonstrate compassion while forging strong connections with organizations to drive strategic growth. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales strategies within your designated territory. You will concentrate on generating and securing new revenue through prospecting and establishing a robust referral network.
Business Development Representative Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an action plan to generate new business and build strong client relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of sales routes and activities.
- Conduct sales calls leading to scheduled meetings with target referral prospects.
- Secure customer commitments that lead to referrals for disaster restoration services.
- Achieve company sales targets and regularly update management on account status.
- Uphold a professional, ethical, and positive image as a key company representative within the community.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports promptly.
- Participate in weekly leadership meetings.
- Regularly engage in client meetings, trade shows, networking events, conferences, etc.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer contact database.
- Deliver group presentations to prospective organizations.
- Coordinate sales efforts with other marketing activities, including promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, and social media marketing.
Business Development Representative Requirements:
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in a business development role, preferably in outside, B2B sales.
- Industry knowledge, or the willingness and ability to quickly acquire it if new to the field.
- Results-oriented with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently multitasking and driving outcomes with a sense of urgency.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with both team members and clients.
- Sales Force experience desired but not required
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, confident, and well-organized.
- Dependable, transparent, and trustworthy.
