Business Development Sales Representative - Fire Protection Company - Base Salary to 55k/year - Warrendale, PA

Their services include fire extinguishers, alarm systems, suppression systems, SCBA, gas detection, carbon dioxide, oxygen, sprinkler systems, and so much more. Their mission is to supply life safety products and service to the industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, and municipal companies in Pittsburgh and nearby areas.
- Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Sales Representative for their team in Warrendale, PA. The Business Development Sales Representative will play a key role in acquiring new clients and driving business growth while delivering excellent customer service to existing customers in your assigned territories. The responsibilities of the Business Development Sales Representative include cultivating relationships with current clients to promote repeat business and referrals, as well as building strong connections with new clients to establish lasting partnerships. The Business Development Sales Representative will collaborate closely with the project department and fellow sales team members to align efforts, share insights, and support each other in meeting sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, managing phone calls, providing information about products and services, and offering tailored solutions for their fire protection needs.
- Drive business growth by acquiring new clients, securing new opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service to existing customers within your designated territory, while meeting sales objectives.
- Regularly review customer accounts, including price levels, part pricing, contact details, and system information, to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with other Account Managers and Business Development professionals to achieve shared goals.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and progress using the CRM system (Profit Zoom) to effectively track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth sales execution and on-time delivery.
- Organize and coordinate live extinguisher training demonstrations.
- Oversee sales territories in Pittsburgh, PA, and surrounding areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the fire protection industry is required.
- Ability to travel to customer sites within assigned territories.
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education through training sessions and seminars.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:20 AM to 4:20 PM.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English is required.
