As a Business Development and Sales Representative, you will take charge of outbound sales, project estimating, and job site management. This role requires a proactive approach to client interactions. You'll need to build strong relationships and not be afraid to connect with as many people as possible to build your book of business. Compensation • Base salary: $40,000 per year • Commission: 10-15% on various jobs • High performers can expect total compensation of $80,000 - $95,000 per year Responsibilities: • Proactively engage with potential clients in Waterloo, IA, through outbound sales efforts, aiming to make 100-125 cold calls weekly to drive new business opportunities. • Prepare estimates for commercial landscaping projects specific to the Waterloo area, handling 10-20 active opportunities simultaneously. • Conduct thorough on-site evaluations in Waterloo to assess client needs accurately and provide detailed project estimates. • Manage and oversee projects in Waterloo from the initial proposal phase to successful completion, ensuring client satisfaction. • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships in Waterloo to uphold high levels of customer contentment and loyalty. • Collaborate closely with the landscaping team in Waterloo to efficiently coordinate and execute projects. • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, client interactions, and project advancements in Waterloo.
