JARBO is entering its 6th year in business and has built a solid foundation of clients and an exceptional recruiting team. Now that all the building blocks are in place, we feel it’s time to pour some gasoline on the fire by adding our first dedicated salesperson.
JARBO’s Target Markets: Small to mid-sized engineering, manufacturing, utility, and construction companies on an upward growth trajectory.
Summary – Business Development Leader – Staffing Services: We are looking for sales professionals with proven success either selling staffing services or experience selling other services/products to companies within JARBO’s target market. As the first dedicated salesperson, you wouldn’t have any internal competition or be confined by a geographic region or leads list. Rather, you will be encouraged to contact any and every prospect that fits within JARBO’s target market. The primary purpose of this role is to engage prospects in learning more about our services and working to coordinate a follow-up meeting with JARBO’s Managing Partner responsible for closing new business. We anticipate this role to be primarily inside sales, making cold outreach via phone calls.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Leader – Staffing Services:
- Source prospective clients through internal databases, external databases, and your personal network.
- Reach out to leads through various channels, including cold and warm phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, on-site visits, and networking events.
- Present our staffing solutions and services to potential clients, showcasing the value we bring to their organizations.
- Guage prospects interest in utilizing JARBO’s staffing services.
- Add prospects to JARBO’s internal database and document/schedule outreach attempts.
- Assist in helping to develop proposals in response to prospect and client requests for proposals.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to understand their staffing needs.
- Work to establish a follow up meeting with the prospect and a managing partner from JARBO.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to make them aware of prospects.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets / Respond to objectives and identify methods to reach those goals
- Integrate marketing, operations and financial knowledge to achieve organizational goals
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities.
Qualifications of the Business Development Leader – Staffing Services:
- Proven inside sales experience
- Strong business and project management skills, creativity and ingenuity in developing successful strategies, and demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Existing relationships with decision makers at companies within JARBO’s target markets or prior experience selling staffing services
- Excellent communication and sales skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
