We are growing fast and we need an experienced attorney who can hit the ground running. We love to help people learn and grow. We need an associate with experience in business immigration law. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal handholding. This is a full-time remote position where you are expected to manage a caseload. Initial employment compensation will be based on your experience, with opportunities for increases after that. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability. Responsibilities: If these statements appeal to you, then you may be our next hire: • Possess strong organizational abilities. • Effectively advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action. • Work closely with paralegals and managing attorney to ensure swift action through the immigration processes. • Heavily focused on legal research, drafting, reviewing, and editing a large number of support letters, personal statements, and cover letters. • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to discuss strategy with clients and educate clients on matters of business immigration. • Attend immigration interviews as needed and assist with the management of immigration matters. • Possess a high degree of accountability and responsibility to ensure that immigration matter is managed in accordance with the client's intentions. • Independently maintain and manage individual casework, including contacting U.S. and other governmental agencies to move the case forward as needed. • Enter client notes and billable time into the Case Management System. Qualifications: • Experience at a legal firm working on business immigration law matters for at least 2-3 years REQUIRED for this position. • Juris Doctor degree required. • Wide range of knowledge regarding immigration-related topics. • NIW experience REQUIRED for this position. • EB1A, O, E-2, and PERM experience is preferred. Compensation: $75,000 - $120,000 yearly
