    The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for developing dashboards, charts, and reports to transform complex datasets into actionable insights for decision-makers, stakeholders, and the public. This role enables program leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions by implementing BI frameworks and tools.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, with specialized expertise in BI frameworks. They must be able to work across various programs, divisions, and policy areas, collaborating with subject matter experts at different levels of data proficiency. A key aspect of this role is developing and standardizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational success effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Data Visualization & Reporting: Design and implement interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate key insights.
    • BI Framework Implementation : Utilize BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms to develop and deploy business intelligence solutions.
    • Data Analysis & Modeling: Work with structured data from databases, warehouses, and spreadsheets, applying SQL and data modeling best practices.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with business leaders to define data needs, uncover insights, and ensure analytics align with organizational goals.
    • Prototyping & Data Engineering Support: Develop data models and collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and IT teams to implement scalable BI solutions.
    • User-Centered Design : Apply best practices for dashboard and report usability, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness for diverse users.
    • Documentation & Training: Create clear documentation and provide training sessions to enhance data literacy within the organization.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience :
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis.
      • At least 6 months of experience developing business intelligence reports.
    • Education :
      • Bachelor's degree required (equivalent experience may be considered on a year-for-year basis).
    • Technical Skills :
      • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
      • Experience with BI tools ( Power BI, Tableau, Looker , etc.).
      • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
      • Familiarity with additional data languages ( Python, R, Scala ) is a plus.
    • Soft Skills :
      • Ability to work with ambiguous data sets and refine them into meaningful insights.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
      • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
