    The Ebbert Law Firm is growing and looking for attorneys with three to five years of experience after graduation. Our firm specializes in legal services for small and medium-sized businesses in various areas, including labor and employment. We also provide estate planning and probate services to individuals. Responsibilities: Attorney responsibilities include: • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies • Supervise administrative staff • Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings • Preside over paralegals, and administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings, and completing client projects Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be members in good standing with the TN State Bar. Our ideal candidate will have: • Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience. • Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a law firm environment. • Litigation experience and excellent communication skills. • Demonstrated outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills as well as strong academic credentials. The candidate will be responsible for drafting legal documents such as motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses, as well as conducting interviews and deposing witnesses. • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their unique needs, and provide effective solutions. • Must be able to handle heavy caseloads with little supervision. • Preferred experience in management-side employment law and business law.
