Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to oversee the execution of customer strategies and drive business growth. This individual will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of customer programs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with exceptional client satisfaction. This role requires experience in the electronics manufacturing service (EMS) or contract manufacturing (CM) industry and offers an opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary customer point of contact, managing relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Lead Customer Focus Teams (CFTs), prioritizing and monitoring all related activities.
Oversee new product introduction processes, including resource alignment, execution, and customer expectation management.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring scope, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to meet customer demands while adhering to contractual terms.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to inventory management, cost optimization, and on-time delivery (E&O, PPV and inventory turns etc..) .
Conduct and lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize problem-solving tools to identify and address risks, ensuring smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with contract obligations, including cost recovery, warranty terms, and inventory management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean principles to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business management, specifically within the EMS or CM industry.
Strong understanding of project management principles and customer relationship management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Team’s conferencing tools.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to a global business environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Experience in financial risk analysis, process improvement tools, and project management methodologies.
Availability for travel up to 25%, including international travel.
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and related philosophies.
Knowledge of quality assurance processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
