Preschool Curriculum Coordinator

The Learning Experience - Upper West Side is looking for an experience Curriculum Coordinator to join our team!

The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for overseeing educational programs, curriculum implementation and activities within the center, ensuring a high standard of learning and development for our little learners. Curriculum Coordinators work closely with the Education Director/ Center Director, Teachers and Assistant Teachers and regularly communicate with parents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational strategies and programs in line with TLE standards and monthly curriculum themes

• Coordinate with teaching staff to ensure effective lesson planning and delivery

• Monitor student progress and provide support where needed

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to address student needs

• Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment

• Stay updated on educational best practices and trends to enhance program effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (required)

• Previous experience in early childhood education or similar role

• Knowledge of educational methodologies

• Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management
