  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Maintain Business Objects environments ensuring the Business Objects design is correctly configured, and functions as required.
    • Perform Business Objects system maintenance and upgrades.
    • Coordinates with SAP support to address Business Objects issues.
    • Participate in design reviews and collaborates on design solutions.
    • Perform Business Objects Production implementations.
    • Proficiency in Business Objects, Web Intelligence, Dashboards, Objects Universes, SQL Server, and Business Intelligence.
    • Develop Business Objects reports and dashboard solutions for a wide variety of business intelligence projects and write functional and technical specs.
    • Define, design, and maintain the BO universe, BI dashboards, and reports.
    • Understand and implement solution in support of physical data models necessary to support business intelligence reporting initiatives.
    • Design, develop, test, and support Oracle/SQL stored procedures, functions.
    • Experience working on a controlled life cycle BO environment.
    • Communicate directly with other BI team members to confirm requirements and clarify business rules.
    • Understanding of BO clustering and DR strategy.
    • Develop, Support, and improve existing BO systems including both Universe and Reports.
    • Experience working in a 24x7 environment.
    • Migration of BO components in various environments.
    • Responsible for documenting modifications of pre-existing development, new development for peer reference and knowledge transfer.
    • Develops proto-types and presents to stakeholders as solution options for purposes of introducing new technologies.
    • Follow Configuration Management processes for all migrations.
    • Create/Update System Technical Requirements documentation.
    • Conduct knowledge transfer to client staff.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Three years full-time responsible experience in business analyst, application support, or related field.
    • Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only.
    • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function in the performance of this job.
    • Bachelor's degree or IT Certificate from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information management, or related field.
    • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must be able to clear a federal background investigation - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
    • Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card
    • Workdays: Monday-Friday
