Job Title: Business Objects / Tableau Administrator & Developer
Position is responsible primarily for SAP Business Objects and Tableau installation, administration, and development support. This may include any new BI reports, new dashboards, new universes, new HANA migrations to include, new data models and new ET processes to support data migrations. Candidate must have expert knowledge in developing Tableau dashboards, Crystal Reports, Webi Reports, Universes, Dashboards and preferably certification in SAPs Business Objects suite of products and Tableau.
Primary duties include:
Conduct interviews with stakeholders to elicit requirements for all releases (e.g. new BI reports, dashboards, using Explorer, Lumira and/or Design Studio), universes and HANA data model requirements).
Schedule, plan and deploy all major releases using FDA standard release management processes, procedures and EPLC, and documentation.
Install, configure and manage Business Objects and Tableau environments (Dev thru Prod)
Configure single sign on (SSO) with Active directory, SAML and ping federate.
Implement and manage security controls in Tableau sites, Business Objects folders, users and groups.
Conduct configuration Management for all major releases and store all configuration items in Jira including the most recent three versions of universes, or product custom code as appropriate.
Provide administration, development and integration support for new reports, universes, dashboards and HANA data models and releases in all environments (development, test, pre-production, and production).
Conduct testing, to include system, regression, unit, integrations as appropriate for all releases.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed for Business Objects and tableau components for all major releases.
Develop custom SQL reports in Business Objects Webi, Rich Client and BI Workspace as appropriate for new reports.
Conduct regular integrity checks and refreshes of the database structure to ensure the universes and HANA models have up-to-date views of the database.
Develop ETL process for all release where appropriate, based on the requirements.
Candidates who can also perform Business Analyst duties may receive hiring preference. These optional duties include:
Facilitate communication between key stakeholders to ensure concise communication of project requirements to achieve consistent quality deliverables within client expectations.
Communicate and consult with Project Management, O&M and DME teams to ensure effective project transition, to clearly define project status and to identify areas of improvement within the Operations workflow.
Proven experience working in complex projects gathering user requirements and converting them into user story and acceptance criteria requirements
Hands on experience in working with customers to define/optimize their business processes, breaking them down into requirements, and helping define the implementation through available technologies.
Good understanding of Agile development methodology
Create/manage requirements in Jira and generate requirement documents.
Design and develop documentation including procedures, process flow diagrams, work instructions, and protocols for processes.
Collaborate with product team across the various development phases to ensure enhancements/changes are implemented and tested according to requirements.
Proven experience with supporting highly critical customer missions.
Excellent technical writing, verbal and written communication skills, including experience working directly with customers to discuss their requirements and objectives.

Proven experience in multi-tasking and managing efforts to within the schedule. Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a related Master’s degree
Must have Business Objects and Tableau administration and developmentexperience
FDA domain knowledge preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who also have Business Analyst experience and can perform both development and analyst duties.
