Comeaux Furniture and Appliance, is a well-established mid-size company located in the Greater New Orleans area. A family-owned furniture and appliance company seeking an experienced full-time Business Office Associate. Opportunity for full-time employment, in a relaxed environment. Hourly salary will be $15.00 per hour. Five-day, forty-hour work week which includes Saturdays and evenings. Work will be at our Metairie, LA location and our New Orleans, LA location. Benefit’s package includes health insurance, dental, vision, vacation, and PTO accruals.

Candidates must have a least a high school diploma or equivalent, possess basic math knowledge, and be able to operate a 12-key adding machine efficiently. English reading, writing, and speaking are required as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

Process Credit Card Payments and Financial Agreements

Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system

Verify sales input and print sales receipts

Accept and post payments to customers' accounts

Perform daily cash-balancing and deposits
