Job Summary
The Business Office Coordinator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative operations within the surgery center, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient registration, billing, and office coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, patients, and insurance providers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
- Ensure accurate charge entry, billing, and claims processing.
- Assist with accounts receivable, collections, and payment posting.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and financial guidelines.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support center operations.
- Address patient inquiries related to billing, insurance, and office procedures.
- Support financial reporting and office record-keeping.
- Assist with staff training on office procedures and compliance policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and revenue cycle processes.

Required Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent required ; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or business preferred
