    POSITION OVERVIEW

    A Business Operations Manager reports to the Executive Managing Director and oversees regional business operations and cross-functional corporate initiatives. This position works with all roles, inclusive of business unit leaders, management and employees, to provide organizational support and assess operational gaps so teams can operate at maximum effectiveness. The Business Operations Manager will implement programs and processes based on data research and successful metrics to consistently regulate evaluation of progress.

    The Business Operations Manager will continuously communicate with key internal stakeholders to help drive decisions. They will provide strategic counsel to the Executive Managing Director and/or Partners to improve their bottom line and drive progress to meet organizational goals. A change agent, this role proactively communicates with all parties at a tactical, strategic and operational level handling oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leaders’ areas of responsibility.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct weekly meetings with leadership to provide updates and address operational challenges with partners and business unit leaders.
    • Create detailed agendas for leadership meetings, focusing discussions on strategic objectives and key initiatives.
    • Project management, including cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives, for collaboration across business units.
    • Analyze credit cards and trip expenses to inform budget planning and ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Identify key priorities for each project and work to align organizational stakeholders with the project objectives.
    • Monitor, analyze, and strategize to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity for existing processes.
    • Liaise with the departmental hiring managers to ensure proper hiring, onboarding and training, i.e., Property Management, Brokerage, Industrial Capital Markets, Industrial Development Services, Construction Management, and Marketing.
    • Proficient in AP and AR reporting, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
    • Leads and coordinates the monthly Big Ops meetings.
    • Support coordinators on the deal reporting process (REApps and PTF), ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
    • Spearhead the adoption of brokerage applications and support the development of the resource library and act as a liaison for training initiatives.
    • Make announcements to the team regarding important updates, achievements, and upcoming events.
    • Gather business requirements to align business operations with organizational goals and improve processes.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Minimum of 7 years related experience
    • Commercial Real Estate experience required
    • Previous supervisory or management experience required
    • Excellence analytical and communication abilities
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
