One of our clients at Fort Belvoir, VA needs a Business Process Subject Matter Specialist for a permanent position.
Position: Business Process Subject Matter Specialist
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Position Type: Full-time
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced (5 years) Business Process Subject Matter Specialist to join our team in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) to provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments. The ideal candidate will have five (5) years working in the Department of Defense (DoD) as a GS 11-12 or above as a Contract Specialist or equivalent position with a deep knowledge and understanding of the DoD contracting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high level functional analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on complex problems for effective implementation.
Participate as needed in all phases of software development with an emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
Provide Subject Matter insight on procurement, acquisition, and contract administration best practices.
Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DFARS, and other applicable policies.
Develop as needed process documentation, workflows, and SOPs to support contract management functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five (5) years working in Department of Defense (DoD) contracting as a GS-1102-12 or above, Contract Specialist, position or other substantially equivalent position that has yielded deep knowledge and understanding of the DoD contracting process and the critical relationship that the PIEE PMO has in the DoD Contracting and Procurement ecosystem.
Active Secret DoD Security Clearance
In-depth knowledge of FRA, DFARS, and other DoD procurement regulations.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and process improvement skills.
