The Account Representative supports the Business Services department by managing employer accounts in the Work in Texas platform and assisting Business Services Representatives with various tasks. This role ensures effective communication with employers, maintains accurate account information, and facilitates the smooth operation of services provided to employers seeking workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
* Create, update, and maintain employer accounts in the Work in Texas system.
* Ensure account information is accurate and compliant with organizational and state guidelines.
* Resolve employer inquiries regarding their accounts and provide technical assistance as needed.
- Employer Engagement:
* Assist employers in navigating the Work in Texas platform to post job listings, manage applications, and utilize workforce resources.
* Communicate effectively with employers to understand their needs and provide appropriate workforce solutions.
- Support Business Service Representatives:
* Collaborate with Business Service Representatives to support outreach efforts and employer engagement strategies.
* Assist in preparing materials for employer meetings, presentations, and job fairs.
* Conduct follow-ups with employers to gather feedback and assess satisfaction with services.
- Reporting and Documentation:
* Maintain detailed records of employer interactions and account activities.
* Generate reports on account statuses, service usage, and outcomes as required.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
* Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies and state regulations.
* Stay updated on best practices for employer account management and workforce service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in customer service, account management, or a related field. Experience in workforce services or employment-related platforms is a plus.
- Skills:
* Proficiency in using online platforms and databases (experience with Work in Texas is highly desirable).
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Other Requirements: Familiarity with workforce development programs and services is an advantage.
