    Position Summary: As a Business Solutions Consultant, build and nurture lasting relationships with business members, serving as their trusted advisor and creating personalized financial solutions tailored to their unique needs. Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager and internal partners to deepen Call Federal Credit Union’s relationships with small businesses and actively grow our business services portfolio. The focus will be on identifying opportunities for business loans and a full suite of financial products that support the success of small businesses in our community.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    Business Loan Origination & Management:

    · Identify and develop relationships with small business owners in the community to create opportunities for business loans and other financial products.

    · Manage the full loan process, including gathering necessary documentation, submitting applications, and ensuring timely approvals.

    · Develop and maintain a business loan pipeline, actively identifying prospects for small business loans, lines of credit, and other lending products.

    · Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements for all loan products.

    Business Development & Relationship Management:

    · Serve as the primary contact for business members, understanding their needs and offering tailored financial solutions, including loans and a range of financial products.

    · Engage regularly with business members, providing exceptional service and proactive financial advice. Maintain consistent communication to manage the overall relationship.

    · Deepen relationships with existing members by identifying cross-sell opportunities for other Call Federal financial products and services.

    · Function as a financial resource for business owners, offering guidance on credit, financial management, and strategic growth.

    Small Business Program Growth:

    · Assist in growing the small business program by identifying opportunities to enhance product offerings and deepen relationships with small business members.

    · Provide feedback on product development, strategies, and market trends to ensure continued growth and success.

    Community Engagement & Networking:

    · Attend community and networking events with the Business Development Manager, representing Call Federal Credit Union’s business services program.

    · Build partnerships with local small business organizations, chambers of commerce, and other key stakeholders to generate leads and raise awareness of Call Federal’s services.

    · Champion the credit union’s mission of delivering member-centric service in every interaction.

    · Provide insights that contribute to tools and strategies to meet business members’ needs, creating consultative experience.

    · Perform other duties as assigned to support initiatives that align with the growth of the business services program.

    Miscellaneous

    · Advocate and demonstrate company brand.

    · Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    · Fluent in English with strong communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

    · 2+ years of experience in business lending, financial services, or business development, preferably within a credit union or community environment.

    · Proven record of building and managing business relationships.

    · Must be NMLS registered or can obtain registration.

    · Strong understanding of financial products, particularly business loans, credit lines, and deposit accounts.

    · Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    · Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

    · Knowledge of the local business community and experience attending networking events.

    · Proficient in CRM software and other business development tools.

    · Ability to analyze financial data and recommend suitable products.

    Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

    This position requires the employee to work indoors in a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations, and the ability to stand, walk stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 1-25 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with arms, talk, and hear.

    Hours

    40 hour work week between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. (Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand)
