Craig Quinlan, Managing Director/Financial Advisor:
How long with NM? Started as an intern at NM in 1986 and became a full-time Financial Advisor upon graduation.
Previous Experience? Worked in various business development roles during college before joining Northwestern Mutual.
Passionate Outside of Work? Enjoys spending time with his wife, Renee, their two dogs, and visiting family in Chicago. He’s an avid golfer at Sequoyah Country Club and occasionally enjoys a nice whiskey and cigar.
Ari Simvoulakis, Chief Recruitment Officer:
How long with NM? Over eleven years; joined in 2013 as a financial representative intern and later joined the recruiting team full-time.
Previous Experience? Began as an intern at Northwestern Mutual before transitioning into recruiting after graduation.
Passionate Outside of Work? Enjoys traveling the world to learn about new cultures, is an avid boxer, and recently started weightlifting.
Christian Katzman, Financial Advisor:
How long with NM? A little over six months.
Previous Experience? Served in the US Marine Corps, earned a BA in International Finance from USC, and an MBA from Pepperdine. Most recently served as Vice President at MUFG in the financial industry.
Passionate Outside of Work? Active in his community, coaching his son's football games, hosting networking events, and serving on local boards. A foodie who travels internationally each year to explore new cuisines.

Previous Experience? Nearly a decade in the entertainment/production industry as a camera assistant.

Key Responsibilities of a Financial Advisor:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.
Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement.
Ongoing Support: Monitor clients' financial plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.
Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in financial services or insurance is not required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, such as SIE, Series 7, & Series 63, and CA Life and Health insurance license (training and sponsorship available).
Education: A Bachelor's Degree is Required.
