_ Purpose:_
The Business Systems Analyst/Developer strategically maximizes productivity and improves customer service by supporting users and enhancing the functionality of software utilized by the organization. The Business Systems Analyst/Developer guarantees accurate and efficient operations by supporting, identifying, and refining technology solutions that create and facilitate Standard Operating Procedures that position Clow as a premier leader in the waterworks industry.
Key Performance Indicators:
-Employee Experience: Complete 2 Professional Development opportunities per year.
-Customer Experience:
- Creating and maintaining 2 major working software solutions.
-Establish a modern and consistent user experience with 3 major projects.
-Sustainability:
-Develop and Implement minimum of 2 application enhancements into the ERP platform per year.
-Efficiently organize, plan, and document development projects with 100% on time completion.
Core Functions:
-Innovation (30%): Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable code to maximize productivity. Provide steadfast and knowledgeable support to the organization, identify issues in software design, debug and implement resolutions to enhance functionality. Be a resource for all team members to identify software gaps and openly communicate available opportunities for improvement. Proactively maintain software integrity by completing updates and ensuring best possible performance responses for all applications. Provide documentation, training, maintenance, and support of developed applications. Partner with the Corporate ERP team to develop strategies that optimize technologies/processes that ensure longevity, sustainability and profitability of the organization.
-Project Management (30%): Attentively work with the organization and Corporate IT team to integrate new software applications and improvements. Provide sound technical documentation regarding changes and requirements throughout the life cycle of the software, while also diligently testing all applications and coding in the sandbox prior to deployment into the platform to confirm efficient functionality.
-Communication (30%): Provide support and assistance to software/ERP users. Collaborate with users among all facets of the organization to thoroughly understand the needs and provide innovative opportunities for enhancement. Actively partner with the Corporate IT team to ensure best possible practices and outcomes are utilized. Provide thorough communication to key team members about project performance and integration timelines.
-Professional Development (10%): Research software applications to ensure manufacturing excellence is achieved and actively investigate new software for improvement and functionality along all fronts of the organization. Seek opportunities for professional development by way of educational courses, training sessions, or collaboration with business partners to enhance knowledge and advance the organization.
Qualifications
_ Technical skills:_
** Proficient in at least three of the following:**
.Net, HTML5, JavaScript, C#, VB, C++, MVC experience utilizing Visual Studio, SSRS reporting, SQL Server, C#, UX, UI Design, and working knowledge of Microsoft IIS. Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns. Creating and supporting systems in a manufacturing environment.
** Minimum Requirements** :
-Associates degree in Programming with a minimum of 2 years of programming experience using .NET.
** Preferred Candidate:**
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 3 years of experience using Microsoft .NET.
