    The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Enterprise Applications and EDI analyzes and evaluates user needs, designs solutions, and implements sustainable improvements to our company’s systems and process workflows. The BSA supports various departments, as assigned by IT Management, serving as the point of contact for select systems and technologies, with a focus on EDI, ERP or other tools. In this critical role you will help shape and execute the digitization of our supply chain from order receipt to customer invoicing and payment.


    Duties and Responsibilities (10% Plan, 40% Build, 50% Run): 

    • Lead the onboarding of customer or supplier EDI integrations including solution design, deployment and production support monitoring and continuous improvement. 
    • Manage 3rd party EDI vendor teams to achieve project and service key performance measures. 
    • Manage continuous improvement initiatives, projects and enhancements leveraging standard software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including the creation of project artifacts such as Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), process maps, test scripts, User Acceptance Testing, and training. 
    • Respond to technology support tickets, including issue triage, resolution, third-party engagement, root cause analysis and propose long-term solutions to achieve service level agreements (SLAs). (Including after hours or on-call weekend support, as required) 
    • Partner with cross-functional BSAs and IT team members as needed to achieve business objectives. 
    • Train end users on new developments or relevant existing functionality within the assigned systems to ensure efficient operations. 
    • Administer the EDI and integration platform environment, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows and automations to achieve SLAs and improve business processes. 
    • Support Enterprise transformational projects as a workstream lead, in assigned areas, documenting system requirements and creating system specifications that drive implementation. 
    • Other duties as assigned 

     

    Qualifications and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Communications, or equivalent 
    • Minimum 4+ years’ experience supporting business users and resolving process and application issues preferably within manufacturing or food and beverage production 
    • Knowledge of EDI (ANSI X12 and EDIFACT), ERP (Microsoft Business Central, Aspen Canopy), Integration standards (XML, FTP, FFI) or other enterprise applications and the ability to become a subject matter expert on assigned applications 
    • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, process mapping and workflow design 
    • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools and database and integration functionality 
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines

  • Compensation
    $90,000-$125,000 per year
