    The Busser/Food Runner is responsible for ensuring that food orders are delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. This role supports the smooth operation of the restaurant by maintaining clear communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for guests.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Deliver Food and Beverages:

    • Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table in a timely and organized manner.

    • Ensure the accuracy and quality of dishes before delivery.

    1. Support Dining Operations:

    • Assist servers by refilling water glasses, replacing silverware, or providing additional items requested by guests.

    • Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain the restaurant’s flow.

    1. Communicate Effectively:

    • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless service.

    • Report any order discrepancies or delays to the appropriate team members.

    1. Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:

    • Keep the kitchen pass and service areas clean and stocked.

    • Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices at all times.

    1. Prepare Service Areas:

    • Stock and organize utensils, plates, and service items for efficient operations.

    1. Enhance Guest Experience:

    • Be attentive to guest needs and proactively address any concerns.

    • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

    • Basic knowledge of menu items and table numbers is preferred.

    • Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

    • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

    • Comfortable standing and walking for 6+ hours per shift.
