    JOB SUMMARY: Butcher & Bee is a vegetable driven, middle-eastern inspired restaurant in East Nashville that opened in 2015. We value community and hospitality above all else - extending it to our customers, co-workers, suppliers, and neighbors. We're seeking line cooks to join our team!

    We're looking for line cooks who share a passion for food, have a strong work ethic and play well as a team. The ideal candidate must be consistent and possess the ability to prioritize and follow direction. Line cooks at Butcher & Bee are responsible for final prep for service, setting up and working their assigned station, and closing/cleaning properly. Success is based on having strong organizational skills and a passion for creating excellent meals from the supplies of our local purveyors.

    REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    Must be 16 years of age or older

    Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas)

    Solid understanding of fundamentals of cooking and knife skills

    Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling best practices

    Constant standing, walking, stopping

    Occasional kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing ladders, and carrying of up to 50lbs
