  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a professional butcher to prepare meat to the chef’s exact specifications by using a wide variety of processes including handling, deboning, trimming, grinding, or tenderizing cuts of meat. A successful butcher candidate will play a key role in our preparation team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Set up and stocking of various cooking stations with all necessary supplies.

    Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

    Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, following various recipes.

    Answer, report and follow Executive or Sous Chef’s instructions

    Stock inventory appropriately

    Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.

    Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.

    Maintain a positive and professional approach with fellow line cooks, coworkers and guests.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Proven butcher experience

    Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.

    Familiarity with industry’s best practices.

    Familiarity with food health and safety guidelines.

    Flexible schedule.

    Reliable transportation
