High end bakery with high volume seeks General Manager with prior restaurant/bakery experience overseeing staff.
MUST BE MATURE, RESPONSIBLE, OVER 18 AND HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE. MUST BE AVAILABLE SIX DAYS A WEEK. SALARIED POSITION
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
Ensure custom cake orders are taken properly and delivered with high level of professionalism to customers when picked up.
Assist in hiring and staffing
Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
Communicates information to district manager so that the team can respond as necessary
Assists with training new hires
Provides feedback to district manager on team performance during shift
Delivers outstanding customer service by responding quickly and professionally to customer needs.
Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, need and concerns.
Executes store operations during scheduled shifts.
Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.
Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
Summary of Experience
One year customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment
One year in supervisor role
Prior restaurant/bakery (Starbucks, Panera etc) experience not necessary but a plus
