    Butterfly Staffing is seeking an Office Director to join a premier engineering and design consulting firm in Raleigh, NC, for this Direct Hire opportunity. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the office and divisions under your leadership. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) to achieve business plan targets and foster growth initiatives.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the profitable operation of the office and divisions, including office administration, business development, client engagement, and financial management.
    • Set and achieve short and long-term goals for operational efficiency, financial performance, and sustainable growth.
    • Market the firm's services, cultivate client relationships, and act as the primary point of contact for specific clients.
    • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to expand existing relationships and cultivate new opportunities.
    • Serve as principal in charge/project manager for major clients, providing leadership and direction to project teams.
    • Takes charge of and oversees accounts receivable collection processes for geographic-based divisions.
    • Collaborates with Chief Engineers, DM’s, and fellow Office Directors to strategize and execute workforce planning, ensuring adherence to QA/QC/Safety protocols within the office.
    • Facilitate business development activities between regions, coordinating with RVPs and Regional Technology Principals.
    • Recruit experienced staff members, fostering a culture of professionalism and leadership development.

    Reporting Structure:

    • Report directly to the geographic based RVP and indirectly to the technology-based RVP, if applicable.
    • Supervise Division Managers and administrative staff within the office.
    • Coordinate with RVPs and Regional Technology Principals on office-related matters.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or Planning (Master's preferred).
    • Demonstrated success in leading and managing multi-disciplinary services.
    • Strong business development and marketing skills to drive growth across all disciplines.
    • Professional certifications such as PE, LA, AICP, or a combination are preferred.
