    The Buyer/Planner II is responsible for managing planning, purchasing, inventory, facilities, and shipping/receiving processes. They may also supervise the work of others. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

    Planning/Buying for production and operational support materials in compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and Quality System standards.

    Overseeing shipping and receiving processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

    Utilizing Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) to optimize production schedules.

    Conducting inventory management, ensuring quality control per ISO standards.

    Managing facility maintenance to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

    Fostering supplier relationships and managing supply chain risk.

    Performing other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

    Competencies:

    Strong communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and production teams.

    Customer service focus with the ability to meet internal and external customer needs.

    Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and communication.

    Strong mathematical and technical skills to interpret blueprints and work instructions.

    Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds and maintain operational equipment as required.

    Job Requirements:

    Bachelor of Science degree preferred; ASCM or ISM certification (CPIM/CPSM) desired.

    5-7 years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in medical devices is strongly preferred.

    Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards for medical device manufacturing.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP II systems.
