Key responsibilities include: • Managing supplier relationships, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining quality standards. • Replenishment buying, issuing purchase orders, and analyzing data for optimal inventory levels. • Supporting production coordination, supplier evaluations, and process improvements. • Negotiating pricing, resolving discrepancies, and driving cost savings goals. • Collaborating with sales and warehouse teams to meet customer expectations. Qualifications: Experience : • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within a distribution environment. Technical Skills : • Proficiency with ERP systems for procurement and inventory management (e.g., running reports, maintaining inventory levels, tracking supplier performance). • Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to analyze lead times, optimize order quantities, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). • Knowledge of procurement principles, including inventory turns, purchase price variance, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and supplier evaluation.
