Requirements
Must be able to:
Occasionally work out of town (within Southern Arizona). The majority of our out-of-town jobs are 3 to 4 days, and we remain in that town until the job is done.
Lift up to 75 to 85 pounds.
Have a clean driving record.
Receive instruction and use good judgment.
Shophand & Inventory Management
Count inventory and receive orders. An accurate inventory count helps us to properly service our customers and deliver on what we promise.
Pull parts for the technicians. This creates efficiency, cuts down on making additional trips once on the jobsite, and better enables us to complete projects on time/budget.
Pick up materials and equipment. Some of our materials need to be picked up from the manufacturer (not delivered), so this ensures an accurate inventory.
Keep the shop clean and organized. This is also efficiency related, plus it cuts down on duplicate or unnecessary ordering because we can easily find everything.
Field Helper
Assist with assembling doors. Many installations are safer and more efficient as two-person jobs. It also reduces mistakes and offers a second set of eyes for quality control.
Install low-voltage wiring. Our systems are dependent on good wiring. Installing and testing the wiring is essential to our quality control and reduces call backs (happier customers, better job costing).
Pick up and deliver to worksites additional parts and equipment as needed. Picking up anything additional that’s needed to complete a job keeps the tech on site and wrapping up the project.
