    We provide quality, cost-effective engineering services to state and local governments and private-sector clients across New York State and Pennsylvania. Our project portfolio features experience in bridge, highway, and structural design; condition and safety inspection; civil and site engineering support; construction inspection and administration; survey and mapping; and hydrographic services.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    We have an opening for a CAD Technician in our Design Department working out of our Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse office.

    What you'll be able to do:

    • Create 3D CAD drawings from adjusted and coded survey data using the latest versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation In-Roads Survey V8.
    • Read and understand the terminology and symbols used in survey notes, plans, and maps for use in developing design mapping.
    • Accurately transfer information provided in numerical, written, sketched, or electronic format to design plan drawings.
    • Understand and apply client CAD standards.
    • Manage CAD computer files and understand CAD file interrelationships.

    The minimum requirements we seek:

    • ****3 to 5 years of professional AutoCAD experience
    • High School Diploma or Drafting/Design/Engineering Technical School Certificate
    • Skilled in MS Office 365
    • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
