Graebel seeks a Director, Data Services and Business Analytics who will be an experienced practitioner specialized in data management, data governance, and analytics solutions. Someone who has successfully led implementation of BI and analytics solutions while focusing on strategic business drivers, processes, applications, data quality, and backend design to help maximize business value from our data assets.

Detailed Responsibilities:
- Role to focus on strategy and leadership, additionally providing technical mentorship and guidance to a diverse group of developers focused on delivering the right information to the right people to make the right decisions at the right time. Solutions will include, but are not limited to, predictive models, analytics, automated reports, automated data feeds, supporting data integrity efforts, and populating the data warehouse to support all of the above efforts.
- Lead team on efforts dealing with disparate and complex sets of data, data discovery tasks, complex business rules and data transformations, and developing and holding teams to standards related to those activities.
- Provide expert level guidance and direction to the development team using tools such as MS SQL Server both on premise and cloud hosted, Power BI, DevOps, test automation solutions.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to design teams focused on delivering complex visuals and automated reports. Develop and maintain relationships with peers within the wider business responsible for those efforts.
- Work with the Program Office to provide Levels of Effort on project tasks, coordinate development efforts as related to those tasks, and help to define the data requirements for related projects.
- Advise and provide guidance on performance improvement, table creation, index creation, query tuning, best practices related to data management, data solutions strategy, governance issues surrounding data, and assistance with transformations.
- Use emerging industry trends to enhance existing and proposed solutions where applicable
- Act as intermediary to simplify complex technical concepts into easy to understand business language.
- Investigate and develop strategy for applying Artificial Intelligence to solve complex business problems.
- Augment corporate Data Governance efforts with technological solutions and best practices to increase data integrity across the organization
- Develop training regimen for end users to become comfortable and familiar with analytic and reporting tools

Required Experience
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- MS SQL Server Stack (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) or equivalent in both On-Prem and Cloud based deployments (10 years +)
- Power BI or equivalent (Tableau, Qlick, or similar)
- Azure DevOps
- Team Foundation Server or equivalent

MS Certified Solutions Engineer: Data Management and Analytics
