    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented CAM Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for planning and generating all necessary in-house documentation and data for the manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). If you have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for precision, we encourage you to apply!     Key Responsibilities

    • Review order and customer data for orders. Utilize CAM software to perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) checks.

    • Communicate directly with customers via email to resolve any order or data discrepancies.

    • Place jobs on hold while resolving discrepancies and update order details accordingly.

    • Revise ship dates as needed to ensure lead times are met and communicate changes to customers.

    • Perform CAM tooling using Pentalogix software and CAM scripts.

    • Generate and output all necessary files for PCB manufacturing, ensuring proper documentation is included.

    • Follow established procedures for tooling, planning, traveler preparation, and data output as per CAM department guidelines.

    • Assist in tooling and planning as directed by the CAM Team Leader.

    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • High attention to accuracy and precision.

    • Ability to evaluate information and make reasoned judgments.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    • Proficiency in using various computer software applications.

    • Knowledge of mathematical and numerical data interpretation.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • Office environment with regular movement throughout the day.

    • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

    • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds.

    • Regular communication via email, messages, and phone calls.

    • Frequent typing and data entry tasks.

    • Occasional movement within manufacturing areas and the warehouse.

    • Potential exposure to airborne particles, fumes, and chemicals.

    • Moderate noise level in the work environment.

    • Ability to access the second floor of the building via a stairwell.
