    CAVU HCM is seeking highly motivated and outgoing Vice President of Business Development to lead and grow our payroll and HCM sales. CAVU HCM is a rapidly growing provider of payroll and human capital management technology and services for small to medium-sized companies that are looking for a better way to optimize and manage their workforce. CAVU offers everything an employer needs including payroll, human resources, benefit enrollment, time and attendance, talent management, compliance, and tax credits, all accessible from our SaaS based HCM solutions. 

    The Vice President of Business Development will manage and support CAVU HCM's Business Development Managers (BDM) and Business Development Representatives (BDR) and be responsible for this group's performance. The VP of Business Development will be directly responsible for the field training and development, sales processes, image and awareness building within each market, and development of referral relationships within the accounting, insurance broker, and banking communities, as well as other vertical markets.  

    JOB SUMMARY

    The VP of Business Development is a leader of field and in-house sales organization, and account managers. The VP of Business Development will:

    • Recruit, coach and manage a team of high performing BDMs, BDRs, and Account Managers 
    • Drives overall team results to attain sales targets
    • Participate and support sales team with appointments and presentations (as necessary)
    • Manage, develop, and refine sales process as needed to drive optimal results
    • Demonstrates a commitment to community and developing networking relationships & partnerships
    • Enjoys having fun while closing business to meet sales goals

Compensation includes base salary plus uncapped commission, and excellent benefits.

    THIS IS WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    • 8+ years successful experience as a senior sales leader in the Payroll, Human Resources, or related Software as a Service (SAAS) market involving business to business sales
    • Proven experience and noteworthy results managing a team of sales professionals with combined quotas well over 1 million dollars in annual sales
    • Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
    • Proven skills with prospecting for new clients and developing relationships with new referral sources
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to drive sales process from plan to close
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiating, written and verbal skills
    • Projects a positive image in representing our company to clients and in the community
    • Have the ability to travel
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Must have personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record
    • Must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States or hold a visa that allows you to work in the United States without being sponsored by an employer.
